Is there a way to copy selected pics from Albums as distinct from Folders (I understand the latter to show the actual pics structure in "My Pictures").
I'd like to copy pics which I have edited/tuned in Picasa.
Attempts to refer to Picasa Help merely produce a helpful notice that I would need an internet connection to get to help - this in spite of having a connected broadband and surfing the net between times.

I'm not sure if this is what you're after, but it's what I use:  In "Album" view in Picassa, right click on the relevant, tuned picture.  The drop-down menu gives the option to locate the file on disk.  If you have saved the tuned picture it puts this version in the (Windows) folder and offers you the option to save the original (in a sub-folder which it creates in the original folder).  In this case, hovering the mouse pointer over "locate file on disk" brings up the option to go to either the tuned or original file.  Click and it takes you to the relevant file, which you can then copy at will.  Sounds cumbersome, but only takes a second or so.

As I understand it, Picassa does the tuning on the thumbnails in the Album, and only alters the original when you tell it to by clicking on Save Changes.

Many thanks Brian - most interesting.  I'm still playing around with this.  Been intrigued as to why all versions of the same pic appear to be edited/tuned, even those filed under "Original" - perhaps since Picasa is my default viewing program, it shows the edited version.  At least now I'm able to get the edited versions on to CD, QED.
