Dear All,
I have a related question to the one above.
When I load my Broadband connection, a display like icon appears on the bottom right hand of my desktop. When I right click onto this icon, a list comes up that includes Disable ( use this to disconnect from the network) and view available networks plus some more.
Do you know an other way to get to view all available networks in my area?
This is not an important matter, just curiosity.

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Wireless Network Connection>View Available Wireless Networks

Windows Help has a very full explanation of this - Start>Help and Support.

Michael,
Many many thanks. The right click got me again.
I went into Control Panel>Network Connections>right click on my network and hey presto the list of all WiFi networks came up.
