Is there any way to 'recycle' my HP iPAQ hw6915 - actually to see the last of it - but first removing all data from the memory/virtual hard drive other than by using a sledge hammer?

Cheers,

Mark

If your hard drive is virtual you only need to imagine you've wiped it and voilĂ , job done.
Or check the manual, there will be some way to restore the thing to its factory settings, thereby wiping the memory.
Then again, who'd want an iPaq when they could have an iPhone?

Try here. Having an iPod Touch, I prefer my Nokia 95's UI. Also my Nokia's user support (no charge for updates to the OS, for one ).
