On XP machine I have recently updated IE7 to IE8. On the tools bar I can see no "Home" icon.

Also, when I go to Customize, "Add or Remove Commands" is greyed out.

Can anyone help please? Thank you.

For a wonder I actually have IE8 loaded on a computer, so I can tell you that mine has the "Home" button and lets me add or remove commands. Is this, by any chance, a corporate computer? There may be a system policy in place that prevents your changing the IE configuration.

Well....I feel really silly now Jon. My Command Bar wasn't ticked so I wasn't seeing the "Home" icon and the "Tools". My sincere apologies for taking your time.
